Revised edition of THE CONFESSIONS OF PETER.
Peter tells about his life with Jesus and the miracles he saw Jesus perform. He tells about his failure, followed by hopelessness and fear. He describes how he felt when he heard the rooster crow. He realized that he just did what he said he would never do. Many of us can relate to that. He talks about the love he felt from Jesus even after he failed, His forgiveness, and the restoration of their relationship.
Many of us have sorrow, regret, and pain because of our failures. Life, regrettably, does not have an undo button. It only has a forgiveness and restoration button.
BECAUSE PEOPLE FAIL, DOES NOT MEAN THEY HAVE LOST THEIR CAPACITY TO LOVE AND SERVE JESUS, THE MASTER. IT DOES NOT MEAN THEY ARE UNLOVABLE. THE RELATIONSHIP CAN BE RESTORED. THAT IS THE BEAUTY AND MESSAGE OF THIS NARRATIVE.
"Failure, Forgiveness, and Restoration" can also happen in relationships with family and friends. It is all about the choices you make.
